And just like that, it’s a wrap on CMAF 2024! This time last week we were kickstarting the festival. We’re enjoying reliving last weekend’s memories while creating these, and can’t wait to share them with you.In the meantime, we want to say a special thanks to YOU… liking these posts, sharing our programme, and buying wristbands and getting involved all the music, arts, and community events helped make the festival what is was… a truly great weekend. Fancy finishing the festival weekend with a boat trip from Cahersiveen? We are giving away tickets for FOUR winners to enjoy a boat trip for two this Monday 5th August.All you have to do to enter is fill in our festival survey (which will take two minutes) to share some brief feedback. LINK IS IN OUR BIO. Winners will be picked at random and contacted this evening (Sunday 4th August). Boat trip is supplied by Fishing Trips Ireland (@fishingtripsireland), and will be redeemable for a set boat tour on Monday 5th August only.

Our community art on the railings has been a much

Our community art on the railings has been a much loved event this year. You can see local artists’ work and also purchase pieces to take home too. Their work can be seen on the church railings of the Daniel O’Connell Memorial Church until 5pm today 🖼️

Looking for some moments of calm and time in natur

Looking for some moments of calm and time in nature during the festival weekend? We are spoilt for choice with beaches and scenery near Cahersiveen. But some spots worth a visit on Sunday 4th during the festival are…Cuas Crom 🔥 @skelligsauna has the box sauna open from 10 - 4 on Sunday 4th, which you can follow with a refreshing sea swim. Whitestrand 🌊 Blue Flag Beach Walk from 10.30 - 12 will guide you around the beach shore (run by @seasynergyireland).🐚 Community Beach Art by Lucy Henehan is a chance to play freely in nature with friends or family. Get a group and make some sand art which will be captured by the drone! Just turn up. The Marina 🚤 Kayak the River Fertha for the best views of Cahersiveen from the water, from 1 - 2 or 4 - 6 with @seasynergyireland 🥾 Paddy Casey Loop Walk (Castlequin) is leaving the community centre at 10 on Sunday and an opportunity to get a group hike in. …And if you want to take it ALL in, then get in touch with @oileanadventures to book a half day excursion with Emma to explore the scenic spots nearby 📸
